Woohoo we’re going on a road trip!
We’re heading down the coast for a few days to chill and get a different scene. We love the city but even we need to get out and see the countryside and, as they say, touch the grass.
Okay it’s not exactly a road trip. We’re not heading interstate and we’re not even going far across the state.
But we can still pretend like it’s a road trip. We’ll be in a car for a few hours and after the first 30 minutes we’ll be disagreeing about which radio station or playlist should be pumping.
So it’s kind of a road trip. And we will be getting out of the city and relaxing, not worrying about the everyday things that fill our days.
It’s going to be great to get away from the city and enjoy getting around the bush barefoot. And there is something great about seeing all the wide open space and hearing people enjoying their summer holiday.
We’re both really looking forward to it. Knowing Yuka there’ll be a lot of time beach side. All road trips have to include a visit to the beach (or at least some body of water).
Fingers crossed the weather is nice and fine but not too hot.
